The Ringways Motability Team - Highly Commended for excellence at the Motability Operations Supplier Awards 2010

Motability Operations recognises excellence at annual Supplier Awards. Ringways Motor Group has been commended at the fifth annual Supplier Awards, presented by Motability Operations, the company which operates the Motability car, powered wheelchair and scooter scheme. Recognising the people and businesses who deliver outstanding choice, excellence and customer satisfaction to over half a million Motability customers, the Supplier Awards cover all areas of the Motability Operations business.

Ringways Motor Group was commended in the Dealer Group 2010 category.

Mike Betts, chief executive, Motability Operations, explains: "The Supplier Awards are an opportunity for us to offer sincere thanks to the people who deliver fantastic results for both our customers and our business. In 2009 Motability achieved the highest ever levels in customer satisfaction. The Ringways Motor Group accolade was one of 13 categories awarded at the event. In addition to the winners, a series of commended awards were also distributed in each category.

The Motability Operations Supplier Awards took place at a business lunch on 16 July at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire and were hosted by BBC newsreader Huw Edwards. Motability Operations manages the worry-free car, powered wheelchair and scooter scheme for disabled people and their families. Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement can exchange this monthly payment for a brand new car, powered wheelchair or scooter through Motability.
