As a family owned business with a heritage stretching back over half a century, Ringways Motor Group is proud to be one of the leading motoring organisations in our region.
Built on a strong passion for motor vehicles and an even stronger passion for excellent customer service, Ringways aim is to be trusted and respected by everyone who encounters us for the lifetime of their motoring needs.
Still owned and supported by the Roberts family, Ringways has maintained a positive presence within the Leeds community since first acquiring the land on which our custom built flagship Whitehall Road dealership now stands, in the early 1950's.
Known for innovation and forward thinking, Ringways quickly developed from the original custom built Filling Station and Restaurant to become one of the leading motor dealerships and service centres in the city.
Becoming a main Ford dealership in 1967, Ringways emphasis on providing a great customer experience led to pioneering process' such as the 'Ringways Service Flow Line'; a unique and popular process that enabled customers to watch their vehicle being serviced by up to three technicians at a time whilst enjoying a drink and a haircut.
Enjoying continued success, by the mid 1970's Ringways increased their portfolio still further by expanding into South Yorkshire, opening a dealership on York Road in Doncaster. A presence still evident today through their 2012 custom built Kia Dealership and Service Centre on Bullrush Grove.
Always striving to improve their customer experience, in 2004 Ringways reinvigorated its presence in Leeds as the company once again launched brand new facilities. This time creating custom built, state of the art, stand-alone Sales and Service Centres on either side of 'Ringways Roundabout' on Whitehall Road.
More recently, the addition of Ringways award winning Accident Repair Centre in the nearby Elland Way Industrial Estate in Leeds and the 2014 launch of Ringways innovative 'Value Plus' reward scheme has seen Ringways expand their offering and customer experience still further.
As you can see from the historic photo gallery, Ringways has come a long way since its inception in 1955. Despite the success, with the same core values playing a central role in everything we do, we're confident the best is still to come.
Giving something back to the local community is one of the founding principles upon which Ringways was built and is as important to us today as it was when we first opened in 1955. As such we have a number of Community Partnerships that help us maintain our efforts in improving the lives of those around us
A trusted partner for over 25 years, Ringways and Motability have worked together to help improve the lives of thousands of motorists. Specialising in providing free help and support to those eligible for the Motability Scheme, our combined aim is to provide worry free motoring for those that otherwise might not have the chance.
Another long term Community Partner, the Leeds United Foundation is a not for profit, grass roots sports charity that acts as the charitable arm of Leeds United Football Club. Amongst the many projects upon which Ringways and the Leeds united Foundation have collaborated on in recent years are the Leeds United Foundation's Disability Football Programme and Leeds United Ladies FC. In addition to sponsorship donations, free advice for disability players interested in joining the Motability Scheme and resource support, Ringways Group Managing Director Stephen Russell is also a member of the charity's Board of Trustees.
Over recent years Ringways have played an active role in supporting Cash for Kids. In addition to acting as an official drop off point for gifts donated to the 2014 Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Campaign, Ringways also donated the use of two Ford Transit vans to help with the collection and distribution of presents donated to that campaign. Through their partnership with Cash for Kids, Ringways also donated the use of Ford Kuga to act as the official timing vehicle of the 2015 Jane Tomlinson's Run for All Leeds Half Marathon.
