The Niro Plug-In Hybrid’s electric motor produces up to 60 bhp by itself, also giving the petrol engine a boost when in hybrid mode. When you’re slowing down or static the motor will use the kinetic energy to recharge the battery for a more efficient drive. A 16″ alloy wheel cover and the aerodynamic frame also help to lower CO2 emissions and improve fuel economy.
The large battery provides 36 hours of pure electric driving – an impressive range, perfect for urban driving. If the battery is running low simply switch back into hybrid mode.
