All-New Ford Kuga – Now with 0% APR Representative*
Beautifully designed, remarkably efficient, effortlessly capable. The All-New Kuga is available with three hybrid options: A Plug-in Hybrid, EcoBlue Hybrid, and from late 2020, a Full Hybrid will complete the trio. Ford’s advanced hybrid technology is designed to deliver a cleaner, quieter, more sophisticated approach to SUV driving.
A seamless blend of petrol and electric power
Kuga’s advanced Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) technology combines a battery-powered electric motor with a 2.5-litre Duratec petrol engine. The hybrid battery can be recharged at home or public charging stations. Energy recaptured while braking also helps charge the battery as you drive. Fully charged, the Kuga PHEV can drive up to 35 miles on electric power alone, which is enough range to satisfy over 80% of all customer journey’s. With a CO2 of just 32 g/km (WLTP) and a combined fuel-efficiency 201.8 MPG (WLTP) it may seem a little counter-intiative that you choose to use a 2.5 petrol engine. But, the 2.5l four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle is extremely efficient. In a regular engine, the intake valve stays closed when the piston moves up on its compression stroke, creating pressure in the cylinder. In an Atkinson-cycle engine, the valve stays open slightly longer. Since there’s now less pressure in the cylinder, the piston doesn’t have to work as hard to overcome friction, which in turn improves fuel efficiency. Some of the gasoline vapour escapes back into the intake manifold through that open valve, but it’s pulled back in the next time the valve opens, so nothing’s wasted.
The All-New Kuga PHEV has the same OTR price as the 2.0l EcoBlue 190PS auto –this is different to other manufacturers who price their PHEV vehicles up to £4,000 above diesel.
Meaning, retail customers can enjoy a competitive monthly payment on options where the PHEV has the same monthly payment as 1.5l EcoBlue 120PS automatic.

Freedom to just drive
Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control keeps you travelling at a speed you choose. If the built-in RADAR sensor detects a vehicle ahead, it slows your vehicle to maintain a safe distance. Then, once the road is clear, the system automatically accelerates back up to the chosen speed. Add that to the Lane Keeping System, which helps prevent unintentional drifts over the lines, and those long journeys become even more enjoyable.
Retractable tow bar
Tow bars can be incredibly useful, but only when you actually need them. Otherwise, they can get in the way. The tow bar on the Kuga is electrically releasable, allowing you to tuck it behind the bumper when you’re not using it.
When the Kuga is towing something, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) ensures that the car and the trailer remain steady and don’t sway.
“The Ford Kuga stands for quality and reliability. It’s also incredibly versatile, suited as much to the school run as it is to winding country roads. There are plenty of innovative touches which make the Kuga stand out from other similar cars in the category, like smart safety technologies and practical features designed to make driving safer and easier.
Despite being a 4 x 4, the Kuga cabin is pleasingly quiet even at full speed, allowing for a relaxing and stress-free driving experience.”
