Ford Focus EcoBoost Hybrid
The Ford Focus is now available with an EcoBoost Hybrid powertrain, bringing a new level of efficiency to the Focus range. The EcoBoost Hybrid features a battery-driven electric motor that supports the engine by increasing power and improving fuel economy. The hybrid battery is recharged using regenerative braking technology so there’s no need to connect it to an external power source.
Connected in comfort
Clean, sleek and sophisticated, the Focus is more comfortable and better-looking than its predecessors with a range of new technologies.
Stay connected to your phone and music or get live traffic updates through the 8″ responsive touchscreen. There’s also plenty of interesting features if you go for FordPass Connect – Wi-Fi hotspot, remote locking and unlocking, remote starting and much more.
Power and efficiency
On the outside, the Focus has been designed to form a silhouette which is both aerodynamic and athletic. It’s not all about appearances, though. The shape has been sculpted especially to improve efficiency and performance.
The updated look of the Focus is backed by a range of powerful and efficient engines working in conjunction with 8-speed or 6-speed manual transmissions.
Smart technology isn’t just there for entertainment. The Focus is packed full of features which keep you, your passengers and other road users safe.
Pre-Collision Assist makes you aware of nearby pedestrians and cyclists, while Active Braking ensures that the Focus stops before any collision if you fail to apply the brakes yourself.
As a next generation car, there are advanced features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go and Lane Centring, making motorway driving effortless. Active Park Assist 2 is there to help guide you into tricky spaces, even taking control of the steering for you.
Comfort and space
Every little inch of the Focus has a purpose, the brand new interior making it the most versatile Focus ever. With abundant head and leg room both front and back, there’s plenty of room for family members big and small.
If you need more luggage space the rear seats split 60/40 and fold almost totally flat, allowing for even more space in the rear. There’s even a few unexpected surprises – adjustable load space in the boot which can be raised to reveal hidden storage or lowered for extra space.
“The Ford Focus is an institution. So any new updates need to be really good. Luckily, the Focus retains all the much-loved features of the classic Focus with plenty of worthwhile updates to make the driving experience better than ever.”
