Drive outside the box
The Soul EV is a compelling electric car, offering great performance, safety, and technology. Whilst taking bold to a whole new level, it brings a fresh perspective to zero-emission and it’s low running costs will mean it makes better financial sense the further you drive.
The Soul EVs single electric motor sends 201bhp and 395Nm of torque to the front wheels, fed by a 64kWh lithium-ion battery mounted under the floor and on paper will return 280 miles of range from a single charge.
With safety in mind
The Soul EV in one all-singing, all dancing trim level with all the safety kit you could ever want. With seven airbags, two Isofix mounts in the rear and all the usual features you’d expect of a modern family car. Driver aids include a system to keep you between the white lines on the motorway, blind spot sensors, an alert if something is crossing your path when reversing out of a parking space or driveway, sensors to alert you to obstacles in front of you and brake automatically if you don’t react, self-dipping headlights and a warning system if the car thinks you’re getting drowsy and need to take a break. It’s upright stance and height make for confidence inspiring visibility too, which is a bonus when driving around town and the rear bench is reasonably spacious too. The Soul EV is a practical car with few compromises compared with conventionally powered cars of equivalent size.
Don’t just take our word for it…
To welcome the arrival of the second-generation Soul EV, more than 50 journalists from across the country were invited to learn more and had an exclusive opportunity to get behind the wheel of the All-New Soul EV. The driving routes ensured journalists received the best all-round driving experience of the model, while a Kia product specialist was also on-hand to answer the more niche technical questions. The All-New Soul EV is following the footsteps of the e-Niro – which has won 14 awards since its launch – and has been highly praised in the media. It has scored on average four out of five stars across numerous newspapers and magazines, such as The Sunday Times, What Car? and Auto Express. The All-New Soul EV launch was successful in securing all-important reviews that consumers look to when a new car enters the market, especially in the highly competitive EV sector. The Soul EV is well on its way to becoming a key player in the electric vehicle market as it is supported by positive feedback from respected figures in the automotive industry.

“The Kia Soul EV is a compelling electric car, offering great performance, refinement, comfort and tech. And once you’ve got past the purchase price, the low running costs will mean it makes better financial sense the further you drive.”

“…It feels urgent from the moment you put your foot down and continues to pull consistently up to motorway speeds. 0-62mph takes just 7.6sec, which is the kind of pace that will match the fastest Nissan Leaf and completely outgun a Volkswagen e-Golf or Renault Zoe.” “The Soul is a good example of how designers can make a car easy to use. It shows the likes of the Nissan Leaf how things should be done, with a supportive driver’s seat that feels high enough, without leaving you feeling unnaturally perched.”

“It’s quite appealing; there’s still a healthy amount of quirk appeal about the design, which is an increasingly rare phenomenon.” “The Soul remains a likeable, appealingly leftfield choice in an increasingly populous EV market.”
