With a distinctive profile and streamlined silhouette, the All-New Ford Kuga combines power and elegance for a premium driving experience.
All the best bits of the previous Kuga are retained alongside a range of new performance-enhancing features. There’s improved aerodynamics for greater efficiency, with a longer, wider and slightly lower build. Improved torsional rigidity reduces body flex and provides even greater driving dynamics. Add to that an enhanced crash performance and it’s easy to see why the All-New Ford Kuga is one of the most highly anticipated new model releases this year.
The All-New Ford Kuga is also crammed full of intelligent software that allows you to unlock a world of connectivity on the road. It allows you to carry out simple tasks like unlocking your car from your phone, in addition to the built-in FordPass Connect modem which controls travel updates and maps making unfamiliar territory no problem at all.
On the inside the All-New Kuga boasts a simplified human-centric design. That provides an inviting environment to drive in, with everything you need within easy reach and positioned to optimise space and comfort.
Talking of comfort - the All-New Kuga is 44mm wider and 89mm longer than the previous model, providing driver and passengers with even more shoulder, leg, head and hip space. Heater outer seats are now available for rear seat passengers for the first time. Simply slide the second seats back for more legroom or forward to increase boot space by 67 litres.
The All-New Kuga PHEV is more efficient than ever. This plug-in hybrid uses two sources of power to get you to the places you want to be. The advanced electric powertrain allows you to travel short journeys with zero emissions and is available to charge anywhere with mains power. The 2.5 litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine and 14.4kWh lithium-ion battery combine to make this the first plug-in hybrid in Europe to deliver a pure-electric driving range of 35 miles.
The All-New Ford Kuga will also be available as a Mild Hybrid, which means the electric battery is still able to assist the engine, but it can’t power the vehicle independently. That still makes it a great option for increased fuel efficiency and energy saving.
The All-New Ford Kuga launches with 3 well specified ‘First Edition’ variants, which will be exclusively available for production from January to the end of March 2020. The ‘First Edition’ variants will be available with all powertrains including the Plug-In Hybrid.
The first additions come with a range of Driver Assistance features:
