Every incarnation of the Ford Mondeo has been pretty good to look at, and the most recent release is no different; but there's an awful lot of substance to compliment the style. Boasting outstanding comfort and a range of innovative features as standard, the Mondeo is highly flexible with variations to suit all needs.
One innovative feature is the Active City Stop, which measures the distance between your car and the vehicle in front. If that vehicle slows down unexpectedly, Active City Stop will automatically brake for you, avoiding a collision and keeping you and other road users safe - perfect for when you're stuck in slow-moving traffic.
The Ford Mondeo doesn't just offer features which keep you safe - it's full of handy practical gadgets, too. There's the Quickclear, for example, designed to get you moving on cold and frosty mornings. It lets you de-ice and de-mist your windscreen with the touch of a button, using ultra-thin filaments to heat the glass and defrost the wipers in double-quick time.
Another standard feature is the Mondeo's power-foldable mirrors which tuck themselves in when the car is parked - protecting the stylish indicators at the same time.
Always at the forefront of pioneering technology, the Mondeo is also available as Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). In fact, that makes it the first HEV that Ford has ever released in Europe. The Mondeo Hybrid offers improved efficiency and performance as well as an impressive driving range by combining petrol and electric power.
There's a range of smart systems, as well, like the Smartguage with 'Brake Coach', helping you to brake more efficiently and telling you exactly how much energy you've returned to the battery.
"The Ford Mondeo is a spacious and practical family car which just so happens to be very fun to drive - a great all-rounder. Packed with smart technologies and cutting-edge features, the Mondeo is also set up to make your driving experience safer and more enjoyable."
