• New low-emissions Plug-in Hybrid versions of the All-New Kia XCeed and Ceed Sportswagon
• New additions bring the number of electrified Kia models to seven
• New Plug-in Hybrid models now available at Ringways Motor Group
The Kia electric range is expanding with the launch of two new models in 2020. Both are Plug-in Hybrid editions of two popular Kia cars; the all-new Kia XCeed and the Ceed Sportswagon.
They’re powered by a 1.6-litre GDi engine and electric motor as well as an 8.9kWh battery pack, combining to produce 139bhp and 265Nm of torque. Regenerative braking enhances the Plug-in Hybrid’s efficiency by recharging the battery when coasting or braking.
Neil Jorgensen, Group Head of Sales at Ringways Motor Group, commenting on the new models said:
“This is a very exciting start to 2020 with two new additions to the award-winning Kia range – Kia now has seven electrified models for customers to choose from. The Ceed family was the third biggest seller in 2019, so we’re expecting the electrified versions to be a big hit with our customers at Ringways. For any customer looking to make the switch to green, please come and visit us for more information on Kia’s eco range.”
